Cautious Petra was found pregnant and wandering with an abandoned herd on an Albuquerque mesa. After her arrival, she gave birth to a gorgeous and spirited filly named PJ.
Petra was quick to learn to trust her handlers and now catches and leads well. She needs extensive corrective farrier work on a misshapen hoof but has improved enough to begin her ground training. Petra will be eligible for adoption once she has successfully completed her ground skills, which includes round pen work, standing for farrier, and trailer loading.
