Cautious Petra was found pregnant and living with a large herd. Several months after her arrival, she gave birth to a gorgeous and spirited filly named PJ.
When she first arrived, Penny was very hesitant around humans, and still shows some hesitation when approached to be haltered. Since having PJ, Petra has slowly become more trusting. She’s learning to pick up her feet. We’ll continue to improve her in-hand ground skills before and after her birth. She is not eligible for adoption until PJ is completely weaned.
