Leigh Sellari

BOARD MEMBER

Leigh Sellari joined the WNCR board in July 2024. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Leigh has been horse crazy for as long as she can remember, often tagging along as a young girl with her grandfather to watch thoroughbreds race in neighboring West Virginia. After graduating from college at Penn State and then law school at Case Western Reserve University, Leigh spent a number of years in private practice as a litigator before transitioning to the federal government as an attorney in Seattle, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. In 2018, Leigh made her way to Albuquerque, where she works as the Regional Attorney for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Mountain Region.

She and her husband, Victor, live in Corrales, with their German Shepherd and two senior geldings - “Blue," a Cleveland Bay/QH cross, and “Trigger," a Tennessee Walking Horse. Leigh is thrilled to have a role in advancing the welfare of horses in the Land of Enchantment.
