Board president

Growing up in Indiana, horses were Lauri’s first true love. She spent most of her time raising and showing them in 4-H and local shows. As an adult, she always tried to find ways to be around horses again even though it usually wasn’t easy or practical. Thankfully, she found volunteering at the ranch was the perfect way to be around them again.

In between her time working as a director of marketing for a large healthcare organization, Lauri enjoys working at the ranch with her husband, Tony. They began volunteering in 2017 and Lauri joined the board in 2018. She served as vice president for two years before being elected president in July 2021. Tony and Lauri also adopted a gorgeous Appaloosa from the ranch in 2018 and enjoy helping train many others.  As PR/Communication team leader, Lauri coordinates news segments, writes and designs promotional materials, manages the website, and much more.
