Gypsy is a tall grade thoroughbred mare. She was found wandering alone along a road in Los Lunas, NM and has been with us since she was a yearling.
Gypsy has extremely long and weak pasterns which unfortunately will continue to degenerate as she gets older. This condition causes her to become lame if she is worked in a round pen. She is a friendly mare and a great companion to our other rescue horses. Because of her unique health considerations, she's not eligible for adoption so that she can continue to receive the care she needs.
