Handsome Cosmo is one of many estrays found abandoned in 2020. Despite a rough beginning, Cosmo has come a long way, learning in-hand obstacles and round pen exercises. He’s still adapting to attention from people and developing trust with his handlers. Once he’s comfortable, he’s respectful, attentive, and tries his hardest. He picks up his front feet easily and is improving with his back feet.
He is still working on trailer loading, although he’s shown improvement. We’re working on keeping him head first. Cosmo has a strong willingness to learn and will need further help developing his skills. He's a spirited fellow and needs a seasoned handler, but he is one of those horses that with time, patience and encouragement has the potential to be a special lifelong companion.
