Cautious Camila is one of four estrays who were among a large herd abandoned by the Continental Divide near Cuba, NM and found by the New Mexico Livestock Board. She came to us with her colt, Cosmo.
Several New Mexico rescue organizations pitched in and took all the horses in the herd. They were all scared and recovering from minor wounds, but we look forward to showering Camila and her herd with abundant food, a safe shelter and love. Training will begin soon. More information to come.
