Stunning and proud Atlas came to us as a stallion along with several other horses in a large herd not cared for. He has since been gelded and has learned to be calmly caught and led with a halter and lead rope. He’s also become good at picking up all four feet and loading in a trailer.
At times, Atlas can still be hesitant with his handlers, but he’s become very attentive and responsive to cues during groundwork exercises. He is an athletic, full-bodied horse that will do best with an experienced amateur or professional trainer. With his intelligence and movement, he will be an excellent prospect for working equitation, liberty, working trail, or dressage.
