Gorgeous Angel is a gentle mare currently being ridden in a western saddle and snaffle bit. This talent gal proudly represented our ranch in the Santa Fe Rodeo Grand Entry parade! She understands direct pressure, stops/backs well, and is learning how to neck rein and follow leg pressure cues. She has a long, extended stride making her an excellent ranch prospect who would cover a lot of ground quickly.
Angel can be a bit head shy; she prefers leg pressure over direct rein and head pressure. She will also need some help slowing her gaits down,but she’s great with round pen work, loads in a trailer, and is good with the farrier.
Though Angel is completely blind in her right eye, it doesn’t affect her daily activities, nor has it made her spooky or unsure of herself. Because she’s still learning, an intermediate rider would suit her best.
