ADOPT-A-THON CHALLENGE 2024
Saturday, JUNE 29, 2024 - 10 am
Bernalillo Co Sheriff’s Posse Arena
10308 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM
We're so excited to bring these adoptable horses to Albuquerque!
Arion, Indy, Nova, Onyx, Reba, Rita, Rosebud, Sahara, Sergeant
Learn all about Walkin N Circles Ranch’s volunteer and training program and how you can join our volunteer team! Our trainers will demonstrate how we rehabilitate our rescue horses, from halter training, teaching ground skills, duress, trailering, picking up feet, and how to begin saddle training. The horses used in these demonstrations will be at varying levels of training and all are up for adoption. But there’s something for everyone, even if you’re not in the market for a horse!
If you're interested in adopting a horse, you can participate in horse showings in the afternoon. Be sure to tell your friends, save the date, and make plans to come watch your favorites.
In addition to meeting these beautiful adoptable horses, you’ll enjoy:
- Great food from local food trucks: Stan’s Coffee & Scones and Zia Strong Snac Shac.
- Horse training demo by our trainers.
- Sales from our Thrift Store including a selection of tack, horse-related décor, clothing, art and jewelry.
- Silent auction of local brewery goodies, gift baskets, art, ranch-branded clothing and so much more.
