What is the Foxfire Fund?

The Foxfire Fund was created by the family of SAF Foxfire,  an Arabian dressage horse.  He was the beloved companion of his rider, Carrie Bryan, and her family for just over 21 years.  For the last eight years of his life, Fox fought hypothyroid disease and founder with courage, perseverance and humor. Against all odds, he returned to soundness and was even able to participate in the sport he loved. He remained comfortable and happy until August of 2004,  when a painful recurrence of laminitis finally forced a dignified, peaceful end to the battle.
Fox was an outgoing soul who loved to be admired,  refused to remain in the background, and would have loved nothing more than the chance to become famous. He seemed to enjoy proving the vets' predictions wrong with his uncanny ability to heal himself.  What better tribute than to allow him the chance to do what he did best - bringing people together in pursuit of healing?
All donations to the Foxfire Fund will be utilized by Walkin' N Circles Ranch solely for the purpose of providing health care for sick or injured equines. If you would like to help Fox complete his circle, please consider making a contribution to the Foxfire Fund.
